2. Cdn $100,000 (US$50,000 - $75,000) - This is what I think you will need in operating capital, minimum, to launch a car sharing company in a city of 500,000+

3. 600 people - this is an approximate number of people that you will need (35 - 40 cars) to start making a profit

4. Car placement - you want to build around existing high density neighbourhoods & transit links. Each car must have a "back-up" that is reasonable accessbile to members. You are building a network that supports itself.
